Am I the only person who has what feels like a million hobbies? Anyway, my hobbies mean so much to me that I thought I would make a dedicated page all for the things I enjoy on a regular basis.
CINEMA
CINEMA
One of my all-time favorite hobbies is going to the cinema. Whether it’s the oldest and smallest theater or IMAX, I truly do believe that seeing good films makes life better. Some of my favorite movies are Good Will Hunting, Minari, Soul (yes, the children’s movie), The Notebook, Blue Valentine, The Pianist, etc. If you aren’t a casual movie-goer, I encourage you to see what is playing near you! Bonus points if you go alone (I promise its fun).
coffee
coffee
Is it weird to call coffee a hobby? Maybe. Am I going to do it anyways? I guess so. My favorite birthday gift I have ever received is my very own Breville espresso machine. I don’t think I am at the point where I can call myself a connoisseur… but I have to be close. My recent coffee related fixation has been learning to make decent latte art.

outdoor walks
outdoor walks
Okay I am realizing that a lot of people will not consider these as hobbies but I think they are. I like to walk outside almost every day for at least two hours. It’s the most relaxing thing to me; I do not necessarily do it to work out but rather to catch fresh air and simply take a look at the world around me (I know it sounds cheesy). I try to walk somewhere different every day and it really is exciting to me.
thrifting
thrifting
I think about 65% of my closet is made up of second-hand/vintage clothing. My favorite thing about shopping second-hand other than the environmentally friendly aspects is that I get to give life to clothing that other people no longer want! I have a particular knack for collecting vintage clothing (mainly dresses) from the 80s and 90s… I just love the style of those eras so much. It’s so fun walking into a thrift store, having no idea what the selection will be, and then sifting through hundreds of pieces of clothing. I definitely take inspiration from Carolyn Bessette and Jane Birkin.
piano
piano
I can play a few instruments, however no instrument has been as important to me as piano. I started playing when I was about 11 years old and I’ve loved it ever since. Listening to music is a big part of my life and it makes it extra special when I can learn how to play my favorite songs irl. My go-to songs to play when people ask me to play something is anything from La La Land (such a good movie and soundtrack).
